If you look at my site I also have a scale built jeep just like the 1.1, started as an axial but quickly evolved to a complete 3/16 solid rod chassis and aluminum skined jeep crawler.

personally, i started with the ax10 scorpion, amazing crawler even with all stock equipment, note:ya get one, replace the plastic servo horn with an aluminum one, itll save you money and time
