Wrong CDL Truck Driving School Can Lead to Debt and No Job
19. March 2010 erstellt von biznets

Scam AlertThe current state of the economy has hit many people and businesses hard.  Unfortunately, there is really no good news in sight for the economy and I personally do not see it getting better any time soon.  The primary goal in getting the economy back on track is one that is not being focused upon . . . jobs.  There are still millions without jobs and millions more who have given up on even looking for employmentThe most important area of concern for citizens of the United States is the creation of jobs.

Instead, our leaders are focused only on establishing a national health care system which will further drive America into ruins.  It seems that their primary goal is to break down this country as far as they possibly can . . . even to the point of ignoring the U.S. Constitution by passing the health care bill into law, without first voting on it as the Constitution requires.  Our own Government, violating the Constitution and the Bill of Rights in order to push through the health care cause that many polls show that 71 percent of “We the People” oppose.    Thirty five out of the fifty states have reported that, if passed illegally, they will stand against the ruling and will not honor the “law” which is no law at all, according to the Constitution.   Furthermore, other states will follow and it is being reported that there will be millions of lawsuits by the American people if this health care is passed by these means.

Hillary Clinton has even stated that the 300,000 million citizens without medical coverage will be “forced” to participate in the new Government run health care plan.   Some kind of insured plan to make them participate, such as an automatic enrollment plan, and if they still chose not to participate somehow, then their wages would be garnished.  A clear violation of the Constitution and the rights of the American people.

Is corruption out of control in the United States?   Corruption is everywhere . . . even in the student loan programs and within the trucking industry as some CDL schools target the unemployed and vulnerable.   Students of all vocations are being lured into trade schools and right into debt, with no job afterward.   The student loan scam is huge business and anyone can fall victim.

In a previous post I wrote about my experience with the U.S. Department of Education.   Having taken out a loan for $20,400 ten years ago, today, the current payoff amount is still sitting at $21,117.74 –   Never late with a payment, only having a one-time, six month period of deferment in a ten year period,  and the loan balance has gone up . . . never down.  Does anyone see a problem here?   You can see the 2009 annual statement I received from the U.S. Department of Education, showing the loan balance going up after ten years of payment.

What many truck driving students are experiencing these days, are more corruption brought on by the recession and the desperate attempts by some CDL schools to remain in business, at the expense of the student.    One thing that many newcomers fall prey to when coming into the trucking industry, is believing everything they are told by recruiters, CDL schools and even many drivers.   Remember, this industry has been described by many veteran drivers as the most “corrupt industry in the world.” This corruption continues through various Government agencies and organizations.

I recently discussed the low wages provided to drivers and their classification as “unskilled” workers.  Who do you suppose is largely behind the classifying of professional drivers as unskilled?  It is the U.S. Department of Labor.   The millions of illegal immigrants remain in this country with no fear of being retaliated against by U.S. law.  They get off on DUI’s . . . they have no social security card . . . they have no auto insurance papers . . . they carry no identification card of any kind . . . yet, they drive on our streets and highways every day.  Furthermore, they buy homes and have employment, cashing their checks at their local convenience stores.   If you and I tried to get away with this, we would find ourselves in jail.  So, how can they do this?  The answer is simple . . . our Government and the U.S. Department of Labor wants them here.  By keeping millions of unskilled labor in the United States, this in return keeps wages down.

There is corruption everywhere.  It has become the American way of life, right down to our own Government ignoring the will of the people, and violating its own Constitution and Bill of Rights.  No conspiracy here . . . just fact.  This is just the way it is.    When you are down and out, weak and vulnerable, the corrupt will attack and take what money you have, while at the same time, promising everything you want to hear.

When considering a CDL training school, keep one thing in mind . . . if what they offer sounds too good to be true . . . then it probably is.

Is Lithium the Energy of the Future?
19. March 2010 erstellt von biznets

Lithium as <a href=an energy source" width="208" height="188" />Lithium is a soft, silver-white metal found in solid elements.  In its elemental state, it is extremely flammable, highly reactive and quickly corrodes in moist conditions.   Stored under a cover of petroleum, if it remains in moist conditions long enough, it will eventually form a black tarnish.   Found in large quantities in South America, it is also prevalent in Chile, Argentina and Bolivia.  According to a U.S. Geological Survey, the Uyuni Desert in Bolivia has approximately 5.4 million tons of lithium.   The United States has the easiest access, the most infrastructure in place, manageable climate conditions, and a Government willing to participate in the exploration and development of a newer, cleaner energy source.   Within the United States, it is largely found in Brine fields, and the only current domestic producer of lithium in the U.S. is in Nevada.  What exactly, can this metal do for the future of energy?

With very little media coverage, lithium is actually being taunted as the new “miracle mineral” energy source.  Insider sources claim that lithium will be the first energy source to establish the goal of powering the first, long range electric automobile.  They also agree that lithium will:

  • Stun the $3.9 billion dollar battery industry with a new development . . . a non-rechargeable battery that will last “forever.”
  • The ability to charge a computer laptop only once per year
  • To increase the power boom of the $65.7 billion dollar cell phone industry
  • Could even remove the U.S. from relying on foreign oil altogether

Lithium is being looked at as being the energy source of the future that would allow a hybrid automobile to achieve 230 miles per gallon.  In fact, CNN/Money Magazine has called the future of lithium a game changer.” Others are beginning to follow suit:

  • BBC News “Lithium could help power the fuel-efficient vehicles of the future.”
  • Time Magazine The Volt will rely on its electric motor, powered by its new lithium battery.”
  • Time Magazine“This Malibu is electric, powered by a 400 pound lithium-ion battery, nestled beneath the floorboard – an energy source that is not only silent, but entirely emissions free.”
  • The Daily Mail of London :A wonder metal that fires your phone, iPod and new electric car is so clean, it may save the planet.”
  • Business Week Magazine : “Large and niche automotive makers are declaring the electric car the vehicle of the future.”
  • The Financial Post : “People are realizing there are going to be an awful lot of lithium batteries used in electric vehicles.”
  • Apple Corporation :Rechargeable lithium-based technology currently provides the best performance for your Apple notebook, iPod or iPhone.

Furthermore, corporations and investors are silently moving forward towards a lithium based future:

  • SONY :  “Today, Sony will invest approximately $370 million dollars towards strengthening its lithium ion battery production operations.”
  • Warren Buffet :   Invested $230 million dollars in a Chinese company called BYD, which is a major user of lithium in building electric cars.
  • George Soros :  Looking into investing in one of the largest lithium deposits in the world.
  • GOOGLE :  Investing in a revolutionary lithium battery to get in on the “green car” boom.

The future of lithium production is already leading to silent, unreported wars in various countries.  Evo Morales, the President of Bolivia stated:  The time has come.” With that said, he marched his military into Bolivia’s oil and gas fields and threw everyone out, declaring “victory.”   His purpose in doing this?   To cease control of the lithium fields.

A future with lithium power goes far beyond electric cars.  The iPhone, iPod, the BlackBerry.  Companies like Apple, Dell, Hewlett-Packard, Motorola, SamSung and Sony, will have no choice but to buy lithium in order to keep up with competition.  Ford, GM, Chevrolet . . . automakers alike will have to do the same.

In 1859, the first oil well was drilled in Titusville, Pennsylvania.  It struck big time, and the rest is history.  According to insiders, lithium is the next big breakthrough for this century, in establishing  a new energy source of the future.    What do you think?

I’ve never been one to deal with the stock market.  People have lost everything in stocks, while on the other hand, fortunes have been made with the stock market . . . if you get in at the right time.  How would you have liked to have gotten in on the oil boom of the late 1850’s?   How about going back in time and being able to invest in the railroad boom?  Or even having the chance to turn back the clock and throw a little investment into GOOGLE when it was first being launched?

Is lithium the next big boom of the future?  It was recently brought to my attention that stock can now be grabbed up for only $1.00 per share.  I wondered how stock had fared over time with other investments, if I had gotten in at the right time and made an initial investment of $5000.   This is what I discovered:

  • Chevron : $2.95 per share, went to $102 per share   – profit:  $172,889
  • Hess : $4.50 per share, went to $137 per share    -   profit:  $152,200
  • Sunoco : $8.50 per share, went to $82 per share   -   profit:  $48,235
  • BP : $5 per share, went to $78 per share   -   profit:  $78,000
  • Halliburton : $3.40 per share, went to $58 per share    -   profit:  $85,295
  • Baker Hughes : $8.25 per share, went to $97 per share   -   profit:  $58,787

After realizing this, I began to look closer at purchasing stock for $1.00 per share towards lithium.  If it stayed with the same trend as the above examples, and I focused on a long term price target of $17.50 per share, then a $5000 investment at $1 per share, would return a profit of $87,500.   A $10,000 investment would return $175,000.    The problem with this scenario is . . . who has $5000 to invest in something that is always as risky as the stock market?

However, I look at other variables and aspects.   If GOOGLE, Warren Buffet and George Soros are jumping in on the band wagon of the lithium future . . . and others we do not even know about . . . should we not take that as a sign for investment?   Why should billionaires be able to grab the opportunity to make billions more, while the large portion of the general public gets left out in the cold?

I’m no expert in the stock market.  Like I stated earlier, I’ve stayed away from this high risk venture.  In this case . . . I’m considering scraping up what I can to invest in lithium.  Perhaps, $100 here . . . $100 there?   Why am I being so personal with this blog post?   Because I do not think it is right for the rich and powerful and those with insider knowledge, to keep any possibility of future wealth-building investments to themselves.

Is lithium the future energy source?  Is it a good idea to jump in while stock is only $1.00 per share?  Let me be clear . . . you should NEVER invest in a stock without first doing your own background and investigation work.   Furthermore, if you decide to invest in a stock, you should ONLY invest what you can AFFORD to LOSE!   This is my philosophy.   This post is purely my outlook, thoughts and opinions on lithium and its future.  Before I decide to invest, I would appreciate your opinions on this metal, and if some of you consider it a good opportunity . . . then perhaps I just provided you with some valuable information that is still being kept under wraps by those with money and power.

The company I’m looking at is The Lithium Corporation.    On February 2nd, 2010, Lithium Corporation acquired a new Brine Project in North Central Nevada.  They acquired a 4,960 acre parcel that covers a significant portion of the Cortez-Grass Valley playa in Lander County.   On March 9th, 2010 they acquired another Brine Project, consisting of 1,280 acres which covers an embayment of the Humboldt River valley in North Central Nevada.   Other projects retained by the Corporation are:

  • Fish Creek Caldera – 117 conventional 20 acre Lode Mining Claims which cover an area of approximately 2,340 acres.
  • Fish Lake Valley – Covers approximately 6,400 acres.
  • Salt Wells ProjectA 12,320 acre parcel that covers the Eight Mile Basin, a playa, which lies approximately 15 miles to the southeast of Fallon.
  • West Big Smoky – Approximately 2,720 acres about 20 miles to the north of Clayton Valley.

As of today, at the closing of the stock market, shares were at $1.26 per share.  The stock symbol for the Lithium Corporation is LTUM.   So, what do you think?  If I decide to invest . . . I’ll let you know how it goes.
